WaterUS LLC is an innovative water technology startup based in Irmo, South Carolina, founded in 2023 to develop sustainable solutions for water softening, desalination, and wastewater treatment. Our mission is to advance electrochemical water treatment technologies that improve water quality, conserve resources, and reduce environmental impact while delivering practical benefits to residential, commercial, and industrial users.

The company has received support from both the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) through Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) awards to advance its proprietary water treatment technologies, including FAST™ (Flow-cell Assisted Softening Technology) for salt-free water softening, SPEED™ (Solar-Powered Portable Efficient Electrochemical Desalination Device) for portable desalination, and FAIR²™ (Flow-cell Assisted Ion Removal and Recovery) for nutrient recovery and wastewater treatment.
